The slotted channels do the work that smooth rotors simply cannot: they continuously wipe the pad surface clean of spent gases, brake dust, and debris, ensuring the pad always meets fresh rotor material. That translates directly into a sharper, more confident pedal feel — the kind of bite you notice immediately on your first hard stop. R1 Concepts pairs these rotors with their Optimum OEp semi-metallic brake pads, a compound chosen for its strong initial bite, excellent fade resistance under sustained braking, and remarkably low dust output compared to standard OE pads. Noise-dampening shims are included, and the asbestos-free formulation keeps the kit compliant and street-safe.

Everything required for a complete front and rear brake service is in the box: two rotors, four brake pads, a hardware kit, and a sensor wire. Fitment is engineered to OEM specifications, meaning no drilling, no re-tapping, and no adapter brackets — just a clean drop-in installation.
