Crucially, ride height is set via the shock body rather than spring preload, which means you can run the car as low or as high as you want without compromising your spring rates or shock stroke. BC Racing's patented concave lower locking ring then keeps that height setting locked firmly in place, even under the lateral loads of hard cornering.
