Megan Racing Front Upper Strut Bar (Polished) — E82/E88/E90/E92/E93 — Overview

Megan Racing's front upper strut bar is engineered as a true one-piece, race-spec chassis brace — not the kind of budget two-piece bar that flexes at its own center joint. Machined from high-strength aluminum to extremely tight tolerances and then hand-polished to a mirror finish, this bar is purpose-built to connect your front strut towers rigidly from left to right, attacking chassis flex at one of the most critical stress points on the E8x and E9x platform.

Every time you push your 1 or 3 Series into a corner, the chassis absorbs torsional forces that factory engineering left partially unmanaged. This bar intercepts those forces and redistributes them directly into the suspension components, where they belong. The payoff is immediate and tangible: sharper, more precise steering response, reduced body roll under hard cornering, and a front end that feels planted whether you're tracking the car or carving up a canyon road. The mounting brackets are fabricated from reinforced steel — not aluminum — specifically to handle the repeated stress cycles of spirited driving over time.

Fitment covers the E82/E88 1 Series (2008–2013) and E90/E91/E92/E93 3 Series (2006–2011), excluding diesel, M3, and N55 single-turbo engine variants. If your car does run the N55, note that the center section of the bar will need to be removed any time you need to pull the radiator cap, and fitment cannot be guaranteed on builds running an aftermarket top-mount intercooler. For all other supported models, this is a clean bolt-on installation with no permanent modifications required.

Whether your BMW is a dedicated track build, a weekend canyon carver, or a show car where under-hood presentation matters, the polished finish and purposeful engineering make this bar one of the most visually and mechanically rewarding bolt-ons available for the platform.
