Dinan DINANTRONICS X - Performance Tuner for B46 B48 — Overview
This is Dinan's piggyback tuner for BMWs running the B46 or B48 2.0T in chassis like F22, F23, F30, F32, F33, F36, and G30. It intercepts sensor data instead of rewriting the factory DME, so install is reversible and you are not dealing with a bench unlock or flash process. For guys who want a bump in power without getting deep into custom tuning, that is the main appeal.
I would pick this over a flash tune if you want simpler install, easier removal, and less commitment on a daily driver. It also makes sense if your car is still fairly stock and you are not chasing every last horsepower.
