This is K&N's 57-0691 intake kit, designed as a direct replacement for the factory airbox on F10 and F11 5 Series with either the N20 four-cylinder or the N52 straight-six. It relocates the filter to a lower, cooler position in the engine bay and uses K&N's oiled cotton gauze filter in place of the paper OEM unit. Fitment covers 2011-2017 520i and 528i including the 528i xDrive and the F11-based 528i GT. If you're running a stock-location intake on a relatively mild build, this is a straightforward bolt-on with no tune required.
