Mid-tier mix of midpipes & x-pipes that fit the BMW G20.

When it comes to exhaust upgrades on the BMW G20, you have a solid range of options depending on whether you're chasing sound, performance, or both. For the B58-powered 330i and M340i, the aftermarket has matured nicely. Brands like Akrapovič, Remus, and Milltek offer cat-back systems specifically designed for the G20 chassis, delivering a more aggressive tone without completely sacrificing the OEM refinement BMW owners expect. The Akrapovič Evolution Line titanium system is a favourite for M340i owners wanting genuine weight savings alongside that distinctive crackle on overrun. For those on a tighter budget, the Remus PowerSound system punches well above its price point. Downpipe upgrades are where real power gains live on the B58 - a high-flow catted downpipe from Pure Turbos or VRSF, combined with a JB4 or Bootmod3 tune, can push the M340i well beyond 400whp. Keep in mind that deleting the OPF particulate filter, while tempting for sound, will trigger emissions faults and cause issues during inspections, so a high-flow OPF replacement is the smarter long-term solution for daily-driven cars.
