Upgrading to Pure Turbos Stage 1 or Stage 2 units is one of the most popular and proven moves on this chassis, offering significant power gains without sacrificing reliability. Pairing that with an Eventuri or MST carbon intake system improves airflow and gives the S55 the breathing room it needs. A Catless or high-flow downpipe from Meisterschaft or Active Autowerke, combined with a quality tune from Bootmod3 or MHD, unlocks the full potential of those hardware changes. Don't overlook the charge pipe kit either - the OEM plastic charge pipes on the S55 are a known weak point and should be replaced with Dinan or BMS aluminum units early on.
