Wagner engineered this cooler around a tube-fin core with internal turbulators, a design that maximizes surface-to-air contact while keeping pressure drop to a minimum. Every unit is precision-machined from aluminum and finished with an anti-corrosion coating that actively improves heat conduction rather than simply protecting against the elements. The result is consistent charge air temperatures under sustained load — exactly what a boosted diesel needs when pushed beyond stock parameters.

The OEM click-fit connections are replaced entirely by generously sized Ø2.8" inlet and outlet diameters paired with reinforced silicone hoses, eliminating a known weak point in the factory setup. The full system has been pressure-tested to 6 bar, making it suitable for the highest tuning levels the 335d platform supports — whether that's a mapped street car or a track build running elevated boost targets.

At 29.1 lbs, the EVO3 is surprisingly manageable for its size and is designed as a direct replacement for the stock intercooler.
