This is aFe's Stage-2 Magnum FORCE intake built specifically for the S65 V8 in the E92 and E93 M3. The Pro 5R filter uses a five-layer oiled cotton gauze media, and the Stage-2 designation means you're getting a larger diameter intake tube compared to the Stage-1 - more airflow with less restriction than the stock airbox. If you're running the S65 in a coupe or convertible and want a noticeable improvement in throttle response and that high-revving V8 intake note, this is the intake I'd point you toward.

The stock E9X M3 airbox does a decent job but it's a compromise between noise, packaging, and flow.
