More turbo parts for the BMW E92

When it comes to turbo upgrades on the BMW E92, particularly the N54-powered 335i, enthusiasts have a tremendous platform to work with right from the factory. The stock twin-turbos respond exceptionally well to software tuning alone, but for those chasing serious power figures, upgrading to a single turbo setup or larger replacement turbos is the logical next step. Popular options include the Pure Turbos Stage 1 and Stage 2 drop-in upgrades, which retain the twin-turbo configuration while dramatically improving spool characteristics and peak output. The Vargas Turbo Technologies (VTT) GC-series turbos are another highly regarded choice among E92 owners, offering reliable gains well into the 600whp range with proper supporting modifications. For a full single turbo conversion, kits from N54Tech and ETS are frequently used on track-focused builds. Supporting modifications are non-negotiable here - you will need upgraded fuel injectors, a quality FMIC such as those from Wagner Tuning or Mishimoto, methanol injection, and a proven tune from a reputable tuner familiar with the N54. Do not overlook the charge pipe system either, as the factory plastic units become a liability under elevated boost pressure.
