StopTech Drilled & Slotted Front Left Brake Rotor — E90 335i/335d/X1

The rotor's cross-drilled holes and machined slots are the functional core of the upgrade. Together, they create a continuous pathway for heat, combustion gases, and brake dust to exit the rotor face during braking — keeping pad compound temperatures in check and pad surfaces clean. The result is more consistent bite lap after lap, or corner after corner, without the fade that can creep into worn or overworked factory discs. High carbon metallurgy throughout the rotor body adds structural integrity, reducing the micro-cracking and warping that cheaper aftermarket rotors are prone to under repeated thermal cycling.

Corrosion resistance is addressed through a black e-coat finish applied to the hat and all non-swept surfaces. This keeps the rotor looking purposeful behind your wheels rather than developing the rust bloom common on bare cast iron — an important detail on a car where the brakes are visible through the spoke design of most E90 wheel fitments.
