VANOS O-Ring Seal Repair Kit for BMW E46 M3 S54 — Overview
This 14-piece VANOS seal rebuild kit targets the S54 engine in the E46 M3, addressing one of the most well-documented failure points on that platform. The O-rings are machined from FKM (Viton), a fluoroelastomer that holds up significantly better against oil and heat than the OEM-spec rubber that hardens and shrinks with age. The sealing rings are Teflon-composite, which provides the low-friction surface needed for proper VANOS piston function.
